Affiliate disclosure
Some links on AI Plan Tracker may be affiliate links. If you click one and then subscribe, the vendor may pay us a commission. It doesn't add anything to what you pay, and it never changes our data, rankings or comparisons.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a tracked link to a vendor's site. If you buy a subscription after clicking it, the vendor (usually through an affiliate network such as Impact, PartnerStack or Dub) credits AI Plan Tracker and may pay a commission. That's a financial relationship between us and the vendor, so we tell you about it, as the US Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guidance asks.
How to spot one
- Only the "Try" button on a tool page can be an affiliate link. When it is, the line right next to it says "Affiliate link: we may earn a commission".
- Affiliate links are marked
rel="sponsored"in the page code. - Source links (the "Source: vendor.com" lines next to every price and limit) are never affiliate links. They always go to the vendor's own page, so you can check every number yourself.
- The one sponsor slot is a separate, labelled placement (see sponsorship).
What commissions never change
- The data. Prices, limits and free tiers come only from vendors' official pages, with the source and check date shown.
- Rankings. Rankings are sorted by published prices and stated allowances only. Whether a tool has an affiliate program is never an input, and an automated check fails the build if a ranking or comparison would change when affiliate links are switched on.
- Comparisons and verdicts. They restate the vendors' numbers. A tool that pays us is described exactly like one that doesn't.
- Bad news. Price rises and limit cuts go in the change log whatever the vendor's affiliate status.
Programs
Tools whose button is currently an affiliate link:
None yet. Every vendor link on the site is currently a plain link. When a program approves us, the tool will be listed here and its button will carry the disclosure.
Affiliate programs we're applying to (a link only changes once a program approves us):
- Lovable (via Impact)
- Gamma (via PartnerStack)
- Luma AI (via PartnerStack)
- ElevenLabs (via PartnerStack)
- Descript (via PartnerStack)
- v0 by Vercel (via Dub Partners)
Most of the tools we track have no affiliate program at all, including several of the most popular. They're covered in full, the same as every other tool.
Ownership disclosure: Brief
Shamus Sprackett, who runs AI Plan Tracker, is a co-founder and the CTO of Brief (Brief Productivity Solutions, Inc.), one of the tools we track. That is a financial interest, so we disclose it:
- Brief's tool page, and every table or ranking that lists it, says "AI Plan Tracker's owner co-founded Brief".
- Brief gets no ranking boost. It is sorted by the same published-price rules as every other tool, and the automated ranking check covers it. Because Brief doesn't publish prices, it sits in the "price not published" group, not in the ranked list.
- Brief's facts come only from its official pages (trybrief.ai), and anything it doesn't publish is shown as not published.
- Brief's button is a plain link, not an affiliate link.
