How this list is ranked

Free plans that put a number on the allowance (credits, minutes, images, messages) rank first, because you can plan around a number; free plans with unpublished allowances follow. Within each group, order reflects how much each free plan lets you make and use; the note below explains it. Trials and paid-only tools are listed after the ranking so you know they were checked.

Why this order (checked 2026-10-25): Gamma's 400 signup credits build complete decks of up to 10 slides per prompt and export to PowerPoint and Google Slides. Presentations.AI's 200 credits cover up to 20 slides. Pitch gives 100 AI credits that don't renew, but unlimited presentations you build yourself. Canva Free includes up to 20 AI uses without a stated period, so it follows the plans that state a number. Gamma's and Pitch's free credits are one-time, not monthly.

Trials, not free plans: Plus AI (7 days, 1,000 AI credits), Beautiful.ai (14 days) and Decktopus (free credits at signup for one 3-slide deck).

We never rank on reviews, affiliate deals or sponsorship. Facts are vendor-stated; "not published" means the vendor doesn't say.
